Hi there! If you’re at a 5 right now and you want a 7.5, you’re going to need to improve your overall English level a lot. You can come back to IELTS when your overall English level is a lot better.

M finding difficult to concentrate for reading, mind gets easily diverted
There are many different possibilities and it’s hard to know without working with you personally:
– It’s possible that the reading is still a bit too difficult for you
– Maybe you need to strengthen your “working memory” so that you can remember parts of the passage or the questions easier
– You might just need to practice relaxing during the exam so you can stay focused. Nervous tension can be distracting also.

The first step is to figure out where you need to improve with speaking and writing. I’d recommend having an IELTS expert listen to your speaking and correct your writing.
